And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Yes, the military Dodge "1/2 tons" had that steep hood. This one is a WC-26 Carryall.
It was what I've always referred to as Civilian Off-Road Power Wagons that have the flat hood, like the Woodie below. They had the 'Power Wagon' badge on the hood. The military Dodges had a 'Dodge' plate.
Compare the hoods on both the Woody and this one. I prefer the former original.
ReplyDeleteI have plans for a 1:6 Power Wagon like this one. Should I make one for Liesel?
DeleteHa. I think this one started out as a Military version - I'm seeing others with similar hood profiles to this.
