    Looks like it will stay full for quite a while this year. Wonderful.

    1. I hear from my sister in Fresno that the water table in the lower San Joaquin valley is actually rising due to the two wet years we've had. That is indeed excellent news.

    2. Yes, it is. But the San Joaquin farmers are warning the California Water Resouces CONTROL Board that if their quota is not increased from the current 30% figure, they will be dependent on drawing water from their wells and the underground aquifers they draw from.

      The quotas are:
      Feather River drainage users, 100%
      Above the Delta, 50%.
      Below the Delta, 30%.

      If the Central Valley Project can't provide water to the valley in back-to-back great water years, when can they provide their promised water?
