United 737 Max Runway Excursion IAH 8 March 2024 - Interesting information on the latest United mishap.
Haste makes waste, in this case to the tune of millions of $$$. I was taught never to exceed 20knots when taxiing in a straight line and to slow to 5-10 knots before turning off the taxiway and that was on aircraft that weighed 1/4 of what a 737 does. Al_in_Ottaw
He's also the best for wildfire information. At one time he trained to be certified as a lead plane pilot for VLATs (very large air tankers) but his life lead him down a different path. His wildfire coverage is excellent because of that and the fact he was born and raised in the Seirra. His first job as a kid was helping to work on old air tankers at GOO (Grass Valley Air Park) in the 60's.

Great site but it looks like planes are raining down like cats and dogs. Wow.
DeleteThis is what happens when the CEO makes "diversity" more important than ability to fly the aircraft.
