  1. Seems an awfully exposed place to pitch a tent.

  2. OK, one delicate question. On all these camping pics of people in truly awful places, where does one go to, uh, GO. As in #2, cause as a man I can go #1 anywhere, but #2 would be a bit more troublesome. Solid rock so you can't bury it. Do you just leave a little mound as a present for the next camper?

Me, I'm going stay in state parks where there are regular toilets. Must be my age or something.

    1. Camping of that caliber requires lugging in a 5 gallon plastic bucket and don't forget the lid. You carry it out.

    1. I had a friend that walked off a high spot like that in the Apostle Islands about 40 years ago.
Liquor was involved, dark night take a leak trip and over the edge he went.
      Waste.

  7. Been there. worth the effort. About a five mile hike up, not too strenuous. Worse coming down really. We just arrived at Pulpit Rock, Preikestolen to use its proper name, when the heavens opened. Thunder and lightning for about 15 minutes and then bright sunshine. Thoroughly recommend a visit though.
