  1. Probably illegal, do to it being a regulated navigational waterway.

  2. looks snaky. my gramps built a new pond, we swam all summer, right up until my cousin grabbed a handful of baby snakes swimming around his legs.

    1. I had a large pond in Colorado and water snakes would lie on the rocks underwater and come up to sunbathe on other rocks. I'd shoot at them from the deck. Sometimes they'd try to get in the boat.

  3. I'd never seen such a thing before! Judging by the number of pools here that's me not getting around enough.... they look good!

This has been proposed as a way to treat waste water. An alternative is to use it to treat "gray water" and to send "black water" to municipal sewage.

  5. Anyone who has had an in-ground swimming pool in their backyard knows that it is virtually nothing more than a hold in the ground that you continually pour money into it.

    Never More!!!

  7. Not something you would want to do here in low country. Lot of critters, snakes along with Alligators who would be more than pleased to share the space with you.

    1. Agreed. Here in Florida, a pool like this would be a monumentally bad idea.

  8. Forgive my ignorance, please. How are these gorgeous pools not overcome with with fungi and algae without some type of chlorine or acid?
