And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
A while back I caught a video of try outs for these guys. Very competitive, very strenuous. Quite athletic. These guys would easily transition to the martial arts.

If you think that's neat, watch a halftime show featuring Script Ohio. Especially at homecoming, when they get the veterans out on the field to do four simultaneous Script Ohios.
I'm sure his father is very proud, especially when he writes that tuition check.

ReplyDeleteHe's the Ohio State drum major. That trick is part of the standard drum major repertoire. Looks like grass, so its from long ago.
ReplyDeleteThe Best Damned Band in the Land is one of the major attractions at tOSU football games. Their performance is sometimes better than the football team.
Drum major is likely the most difficult position to get at tOSU, even more so than quarterback.
