Looks more like my workspace at home.

    1. If it were in England, there would be an old tabby lying on the books up against the window.

  3. Could be an interesting place to get lost in.

  4. Man, I really dislike that the big chains put the independant book sellers out of business, or maybe it terribly difficult to hang on.

I would spend hours and days and weeks searching titles. Cozy, inviting, with knowlegeable and interested staff. Not brashly lit and sterile like B&N and others.

There is a town in Scotland which has hundreds of book sellers. A bibliophile's dream come true.

    1. You can't tease us like that, and then not tell us the name of the town.
      Out with it, man!

  6. You might find a nice first edition in a bookstore like that.

  7. Books, you say?
Someone posted pix of world class, either libraries or bookstores, I can no longer recall. Wet dream stuff, just to visit.
This one is close enough to my AO to be on my bucket list:

Google john k. king used & rare books photos
    Old factory building in Detroit.
