And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
BTW, assuming this is Switzerland, it also means the hill she's sitting on conceals a bunker large enough for the whole town to shelter in, with supplies for six months. And that smaller hillock in the mid-distance is actually a pillbox, with both MG and AT coverage of the approach road, and a roof access point to use MANPADS. Because that's how they roll.
That small amount of food would be close to $50 (in US money). I thought Switzerland was breathtakingly beautiful but very, very expensive. And this was in 2010.
They have 2-wheeled, motorized mowers with a naked (unshrouded) cutter bar out front that is about 4' wide (1.5 m?). They can mow amazingly steep slopes. Hay is hand raked, and often collected by private seilbahnen (open cable platforms or nets).
What tractor can mow that slope?
