And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? i guess im just old school, but things that are not battery powered will work every time you need them. don't depend on batteries, they will let you down when you need them the most. that's just been my experience. scout
Very handy tool, especially if one's wife prefers her steak a tad closer to medium than medium rare.

Maybe I'm lucky. Been using mine for 5+ years and the batteries haven't failed yet. 99% of the time it's just sitting in the drawer.
DeleteThey make ones that say the temp. My blind friend stays quite food safe with his.
ReplyDeleteI use one all the time, it's simple, convenient and it works.
ReplyDeleteOne of my Recteq's probes is inaccurate. Per Recteq I need to replace the probe. I have a digital probe I use to confirm the temp of the meats.
ReplyDeleteI've had one for about a year. I love mine. Works better than the probe on my pellet grill.
ReplyDeleteBy biggest (not so secret) secret. People always ask me how my food is so perfect. I temp every thing and avoid overcooking everything.
