  1. One of the very early F-16s, contracted for in 1978. Tail code “ET” is for 46th Test Wing at Eglin AFB.

    F-16B Block 1, full serial 78-0097, “0097 in 2009 was instructional airframe at Eglin AFB. Destroyed Aug 25, 2010 at Eglin AFB in test of aerial target flight
    termination system for QF-16 drone.”

  2. I happened to be out at Avon Park Bombing Range working on something once when they were doing F-16 live fire strafing runs. It was something to behold.
