  1. That's a bunch of low quality bits that you'll mostly never use.
    Best to buy better quality bits one at a time as you need them.

    1. Came here to say just that. Damn right. Cheap Chink, and gawd help ya if you think you'll be able to use these for more than a few passes in any decent hardwood. Manufacturers love selling "sets". Buy the good stuff, carbide if you can maintain it, one at a time as you need them. You'll wind up with a group of bits you USE, not a set you look at.

  2. You guys have good judgment, probably birthed from long experience. That same logic applies to tools of all sorts.

  3. That is a good set if you are figuring out what it is you can do with a router and it's a good place to keep any better quality bits you later buy.
