  1. Looks like a beached great white shark with a skeletonized clown hat.

  2. 27,000 long tons displacement. Oddly TODAY March 5th being re-launched from drydock.

  4. Annihilating those you hate is as legitimate as embracing those you love. Hate and love are both valid human emotions. Destroying those who you feel threatened by you need to hate. It's a human survival instinct. Displaying hate rangers from social media insults to murder and every thing in between. Look what the Democrats are doing to Trump

    1. So Hamas hates Jews so annihilating them is as legitimate as embracing those you love.

  6. I had the privilege of touring the Texas while it was still open. It's fascinating to see what the sailors went through, and where they called home, during the war. I look forward to touring again after it's re-opened to the public.

  8. IIRC, rudder is a about 12 degrees, left that way because that was the last steering command given.

  10. The Fat Electrician tells how the USS Texas gangster leaned the ship at Normandy so her shells could reach farther inland.

  11. She needs to be towed out to sea and given a dignified end befitting a great lady, maybe let some fast attack crew put a fish in her. What a waste of money

    1. No, these ships are a testimony to human ability. They are works of art and power and we need them to remind us of who we were and who we can be again.

  12. Obviously y'all are some Yankee Boy...thanks to Fracking, we're ROLLIN' in it down this way; the US is now the largest oil producer in the world. If the USS Taxachusetts was still afloat, we'd buy her and make an artificial reef off Galveston.

  13. No! You didn't get it. He didn't say that hate gives you a license to destroy just anyone. Pay attention to the "threatened" part. If you hate someone who is docile and you kill them then you are wrong. If you hate someone who is trying to kill you and you kill them then you are right. If you don't hate someone who is trying to kill you then you are stupid.
