    2. 'zackly.
The actors were all flaming liberals. But O'Connor's acting was so good, and the writing not as hamfisted as they intended, he ended up characterizing Archie instead of caricaturing him, which made Archie Bunker the hero of the show, instead of the jackass.

Norman Lear was pissed about that turn of events every single day, and took all the piles of money he made off an accidental conservative icon, and dumped it into the most libtarded causes of which he could conceive.

  3. Rob Reiner played "Meathead" back in the day. He continues to be a flaming libtard today.

Archie was a union man. Those turkeys tend to have not brains. They simply do what the leadership tells them to do.

  5. Meathead didn't get half the kickin' around he so obviously deserves.

  6. What Norman Lear conceived of as 'satire', turned out to be, in many ways, prognostication. And some of it was amazingly accurate. " But, but, but.... it was all supposed to be a joke !
