And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

An impressive axe collection, if collecting axeheads is your thing.
I've acquired at least a dozen or of them, over the years, mostly in So. Cal. at yard sales and swap meets, usually for $5 or less if no handle. I've lost or gifted at least half them away. Currently have 2 wiik shortened handles on wood splitting duty and 3 full size on stand by, 1 in my truck box. Since getting here to Tennessee L'e picked up 3, people Are proud of their axes, $5 ones are few and far between.
Oh yeah, since I got a pro belt sander, fitting handles got faster and easier. Works for mauls and sledge hammers too. At 73, you'd think I'd be over that shit, but apparently having a farmette calls for them being on active duty. Whodda thunk?
Lizzie Borden only needed one.
