And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I did that, my wife conned me into joining Weight Watchers and we had to weigh in at every meeting. I use a cane because of my MS and have balance issues. I was behind my wife and I casually placed the rubber tip of my cane on the scale and watched the lady behind the table eyes brows furrow and stuttered to my wife she had gained over 40 pounds in two weeks. A little boy accompany his mother saw what was happening and yelled out, "Hey! You aren't supposed to do that!" I was caught! I was not everyone's cup of tea that meeting, but I had a good laugh! My wife wouldn't let me stand behind her any more.
