    1. It could be a ranch pickup that never leaves the property.
Hauling that load would be an invitation to be pulled over by the man.

    2. Addendum to above-
Should have read "Hauling that load down the highway...".

    3. In Virginia, all you need is "Farm Use" plates.

    4. I'm thinking the plate is on the dismounted tailgate that was removed for ease of unloading. The wheels look too good/clean for a farm truck, and it has mirrors set up for a big trailer. It's not beat up enough for a farm truck.

  4. Man, I think that is a Dodge D-100 Adventurer, maybe a '76. My very 1st truck ever, it was a great truck. Wrong side for gas cap though, that or my mind is gone.

    1. No, it's a 3/4 ton. It has a full floating rear axle. See the hub and axle flange sticking out from the wheel's center?

Also, did your Dodge D-100 Adventurer have eight lug wheels? This one does.

  5. That wood looks like pine. IMHO pine logs are not "wealth" since they burn fast and create nasty creosote in your flue.

    1. That lifestyle = wealth. Value isn't always measured in dollars.
