Someone gave us one of these and surprisingly, they work quite well
We bought one in April, 2022 and have been pleased with it, works well, especially on otherwise tight corks. Hold onto the bottle however as it will turn with the corkscrew if you don't.
We have one; my wife loves it. Get one with -replaceable- rechargeable batteries. Our first didn't and the batteries stopped recharging after a year or two.
39 days until Christmas.

ReplyDeleteRechargeable or batteries? And if the batteries die half way through the opening does the bottle block the recharge/replacement?
DeleteIt is rechargeable, simply put the charger back in the base which you keep plugged in.

ReplyDeleteLooks like an expensive solution searching for a problem...
ReplyDeleteI dunno, I've been using various corkscrews for 60 years and never felt the need for assistance.
Just give a heavy duty manual opener and I'm good.
ReplyDeleteI have one that looks identical, except it is by Deik. It's great!
