And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Hmmm...now which one of them has my paperclips? Sometimes you can be TOO organized. My office and workshop are organizational nightmares but I know exactly where everything is.
My grandmother had one, long time ago. No idea what happened to it. I remember as a kid playing with it, checking all the little drawers. There was even a hidden drawer in the back you couldn't see or find unless you knew where to look. Hidden catch and everything. I've looked for one, but damn they're expensive.
My ex-wife has a desk like that that had belonged to Sam Fels of Fels-Naptha Soap. Her grandfather had been a mechanic at the Fels plant near Philadelphia.
