And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
The lady looks pretty tough - not a fake hiker just posing. I've carried my dog a couple of times for a couple of kilometers. He only weighs 7kg but distance seems to add to that.
One of our dogs has small paws, and often rips toenails when she's horsing around with her (larger) sister. To combat this, we've bought booties fro her front paws. They make her walk a little funny, but they really don't slow her down. They lash on with velcro straps and I back these up with an extra layer of 1" velcro double-side strap. Nylon with rubber soles, and pretty durable (and very light). Aggie.
We have three rescue German Shepherds and I'd go this for each one of them.

ReplyDeleteShe probably wouldn-t take you.
DeleteMom!!!! Did you see the size of that spider?!?!?!
ReplyDeleteDogs... Gotta love 'em.
ReplyDeleteSome rock is sharp enough to cut their pads to pieces. She likely has little choice here.
