Interesting Tool

  1. NO on the yellow GC-01; I have one - they don't really work. Much better bet is www.bettergeiger.com. $149 for the device, very intuitive, and advertised to read up to 2 Rads/Hour. At that rad level, better get under cover. Get the case and test source as well, $30 each. The test source is a small uranium ore chip in a small glass bottle. Also, use Lithium AA batteries; 10 year shelf life and they don't leak. I have no association with the seller, but I know things on the topic, and I was very impressed with the device. I bought two, and recommended it to family!

    1. Thanks. I live about ten crow miles from the country's biggest nuke plant, Palo Verde. Good to know when it's fry time.

  3. The GC-01 looks to be made of chinesium, and proof tested for accuracy solely by internet fantasies.

Wait, people lie on the internet??

  4. Careful there Hoss.
    Read the complaints.

Actually I don't except too much for this china made detector with this price range. I don't need any precious result but this detector have reading to and fro all the time, and even you keep it stay in one position, the reading can sometimes higher, and then lower! The reviews here already mentioned the same problem! Why I still buy it???So stupid of me not to listen to their advice! I have return this item!

The return process is now a light-mare because Amazon didn't support DHL pickup for this item, I have to send it by local post and a lot of custom declaration works!

Now Amazon do not return the money to my credit card as before, they keep it for my next purchase!!! Very bad shopping experience!!!
