And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
A somewhat stylized F-80/T-33. Most fighter ANG units back in the 70s-80s had a couple to act as targets. They didn't have chaff dispensers so pilot's would break some bundles open and put them in the airbrakes.
Reminds me, Amazon Prime (now don't tune me out!) Video has the Steve Cannon TV series from the mid fifties. And it's great. Lots of neat old flying equipment like this.
