And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
mid 70s taillights. if you look closely you will see 3 windshield wipers. the window was too wide for 2 short wipers ( required by the low windshield ) to wipe the 66% of the windshield required by 1968 safety regs.
driving an MGB in the Mojave desert: it's raining. it never rains in the Mohave desert. your windshield wipers which you only used once fall apart. you go to a real car parts store. not Wally World, they never heard of 10" wipers. they are used only by Jeeps and Britmobiles. you have to buy 6 wipers. 4 would not work, the next time it rains you only have one new wiper. remove the wiper arms when it rains. lock them in the trunk or take them with you. other brit car guys who don't have wipers have been known to steal them off your car.
1970, Jag of Cleveland, c.'68 XKE, lemon yellow, 4K. we, high schoolers, lamented not buying it (as if), as did a friend's father, the rest of our lives. finally one of the guys bought one five years ago.
