Love them or hate them

  1. One of the four or five most beautiful cars America ever produced. Oddly reminiscent of the Volvo P1800.

  2. Way advanced for the time. A beautiful and classic design, compared to most of what Detroit was churning out at the time, it was the early 60's. Modify the front end a bit and it would still look better than a lot of cars today. It, unfortunately, was not enough to save Studebaker. Also, check out the Studebaker Hawks.

    1. The front end is perfect. The whole car is perfect. Get rid of the clunky way we had to seal in the windshield, bring the rest of the glass out flush with the body, and put decent modern rims on it and this car would be fine today.

    2. All it needs is wide whitewalls, fender skirts, flipper hubcaps, a continental kit, grill, hood ornament and a two tone paint job.

  3. …..And big fuzzy dice hanging from the front window, and don’t forget the curb feelers!

  4. Today people would think they were electric due to lack of grille. Beautiful car!

  5. I loved the body design but the interiors always sucked.

  6. In the end, South Bend could not compete against Detroit😰but Studebaker should have survived a few more years...
