No place at all

  1. There are only two times you can have too much ammo - if you are on fire or if you are in water over your head.

  2. The second fixes the first. Then just let go of what you can't retrieve.
Just saying. Hey I had a bunch of reloads of various calibers, submerged in a tote for a couple of weeks, due to a previously unknown leak. So far, none of the ammo I tested, has misfired, and seems to shoot just fine.

  3. I'm trying to figure out why anyone would say such a thing.

  4. "Too much ammo" is a self-correcting problem.

  5. I have been going through things in the basement getting ready to move. I found a box with 5000 124gr JHP, 5000 124gr JRN, 10 bricks of primers, 4 lb Universal powder, 4 lb Blue Dot powder, and a gallon of cleaned brass. I don't remember storing it away but I was using Universal back in 1998 and 1999. The price tags were $19.45 - $20.95 on the primers and I have no clue on the cost of the rest but I remember making finished ammo for 6 to 8 cents back in 2000.

  7. Rudy Kipling was a smart man. Wrote some pretty good poetry too.
