Take a bottle of Garlic Texas Pete and a stick of butter. Clarify the butter and add the hot sauce. Bake, grill, smoke, or bread and fry some chicken wings. Dump the sauce in a big bowl and add the cooked wings then toss to fully cover the wings. Spread the wings on a sheet and broil on hi for 5 minutes in a hot oven.
You now have my hot wing recipe. I do like the same recipe with Crystal hot sauce a bit more.
Texas Pete Pepper sauce is a must on fried chicken. Once you empty the container fill it with vinegar and dump the contents into a food processor to mince the peppers. It is now hotter as a little goes a long way.
I use Texas Pete as part of my Venison jerky marinate. It gives it a very nice flavor. Then when laying it on the dehydrater racks I sprinkle on Texas Pete flakes to make the "hot" version. Yum Yum.
Good on green beans, blackeyed peas, things of that ilk. Top it off with vinegar from time to time.
