Hmm. You know that looks kinda interesting. I've grilled asparagus many times but never thought of this. Let's see: Old cast iron skillet into the BBQ with asparagus and some butter to help saute & flavor. Going to try it!
Too much charring for me, I like a little less carbon in my diet. Parboil the bacon & the asparagus a little before you wrap it & you want have to cook it to death.
For my afternoon feast I had onion rings as a side. I have turned into a natural gas giant and I have been banished to the spare bedroom for the night.
I see no garlic butter on that toast.
