And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

A Submarine Museum at AvtoVAZ
AutoVaz is a Russian car factory, this is basically the company's museum where they display a lot of kinds of military stuff they made in the city back in their heyday.
Looks like a Tango. Built down in the Black Sea (Ukraine), they came out just before the Kilo Class was developed. They were the ultimate end of the older style of diesel attack submarines started with the old Whiskeys and Foxtrots from the 1950s through the upgraded Foxtrots built in the late 60s and 70s.
AvtoVAZ is in Togliatti, which is a pretty big city.
This sub is type 641B subs, and this museum ship is B-307 which was commissioned end of 1980 as the fourteen sub in this series. It served in the Baltic Fleet as part of the Northern Fleet group. Decommissioned after about twenty of service it became a museum ship. They went to sea with a crew of about 80+/-.
AvtoVAZ is the Volga Automotive Plant, and is the largest Russian car producer. The history of ownership is interesting, including periods characterized as under criminal control. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AvtoVAZ
AvtoVAZ's cars in many countries were branded Lada or Lada Niva. Told that domestically some of these cars were sold a Chevrolet at times.
way cool.....
