High Climber

  1. Sugar Pine.
Best to wear a hardhat around them suckers. Sugar Pine cones get big enough (18") they could crack your skull if one nailed you from 80' up.
If one does land near you there's a darned loud 'thud' when it lands.

    That is one gorgeous tree.

  2. I've never climbed a tree for profit. I have clumb so many power poles in my life that I wonder if piece work would've been a better option

  3. What would be the reason for climbing the tree?

    1. High climbers cut the top off, I'm not sure why but that's what they do.

    1. These men made the best money of all the guys in the woods but I'll bet to a man they would have done the job for the same money as a whistle punk. They were the very early adrenaline junkies, from the day that no one knew what adrenaline was.

From back when America was great.
