And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I saw a mid-60s Fastback in the parking lot of SaveMart last weekend. Green, like Bullitt's. It sounded great (Glasspacks?)! As he was approaching I gave him a smile and a thumbs up, which he acknowledged with a smile and a wave. Made my day.
First had to watch the verdict video though knew the outcome within a minute, but then went to Friday's Open Road just to get a second feel good moment.
That looks like a half ton Ford with a one ton badge. My brother had a half ton 4X4 about that year that he ran into a bridge abutment when he was drunk. End of a nice old pickup.
It would be a treat to know the locations where some of those pictures were taken.
ReplyDeleteMost of the time there is no label on these where I find them. Google Image Search might help.

That '67 Mustang would look better without the big wheels, little tires.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the one with the dog.
