And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Seattle's Best came before Starbucks, same company, same address read the labels on both. Costco buys Starbucks coffee and labels it Kirkland, cheaper and the same but I have to wonder if what they sell to Costco is the coffee that does not meet the standards of Starbucks, waste not and make money at the same time.
Arrrggghhh, medium roast! Ptui! Since I've been cold brewing my coffee, plus the fact that I need a coffee strong enough to invade Poland on its own, I am allergic to anything that is less than 100-octane coffee. So I buy only from places that have in-store coffee grinders, like COSTCO, Trader Joe's (I know, yuppie mask wearers, but decent coffees), and Fresh Market. I find the darkest roast whole bean coffees they have and it's usually Kona, Sumatra, Mayorca, and a few other dark roasts, and take them to the grinder. I turn the grind knob all the way to the right (Turkish) and then back one click (Espresso). At home, I put the grounds into the infuser up to the top of the mesh, screw on the cap, and submerge it in filtered water, give it a few shakes, and put it in the fridge overnight. In 12 to 18 hours you will have a dark concentrate of the best coffee you'll ever taste....75% less acid and it brings out the natural sweetness of the coffee bean. No one I know is man enough to drink the concentrate straight.... I pour about a quarter-cup of the concentrate into a teacup, top it off with filtered water, and then microwave it for 2 minutes -- being careful not to let it boil -- and I have the best coffee that can be had by mortal man.
That's Starbucks also.
