  1. I have the Ryobi 40 volt 14 inch. I wouldn't go into the lumberjack business with it but it's perfect for what I need 90% of the time.

  2. Seems kinda pricey compared to a gas-powered model. Aside from running quieter (one assumes), is there any advantage?

    1. You don't have to keep gasoline on hand. I have a harbor freight corded electric for those few times I need a chainsaw.

  3. The 60 volt model is as good and powerful as any homeowner saw with a 16" bar.
    No oil/gas to mix, no non-ethanol gas to search for, no fumes to deal with for inside use.
    I have the 20 volt model that is good enough for most jobs.
