And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I would like to load 'er up and put her through the paces... Empty I think it would be unstable on terrain, but with a decent load on (not too high, mind you), I think it would settle down pretty good.
Just imagine running errands in this thing.... I'm guessing the front fenders are attached to the doors, but even still - your knees and quads will get a workout, and there are no grab handles. Neat concept, though.
My grand dad had a 1962 version of that. took the box off and built a trailer on the frame. He liked to go out west and follow a logging road to see where it would go. Great truck. Of his estate the only thing I really wanted.

ReplyDeleteLooks pretty capable EXCEPT when going down a steep hill unloaded.....could do an end over end pretty easily I'd think.
