  3. There is a recording of one such gathering, and you hear a hoot off in the distance. Some old timer says, "that's it, thats the Rebel yell."

    3. When I was a kid, I developed my own hoot and yell. I've never heard anyone else make noise even close to it. Until I heard the youtube link from Rickvid. It's was close...

  4. The look of respect and admiration they have for each other is evident.
    And so is the look that at a moment's notice they would pick up a rifle and fix bayonets if called for.
