And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Oh, ye of little faith. People are crazy enough, especially young people who think they're bullet proof!
It's a thing called "roofing" and it's about as foolish a pastime as can be. Maybe eating knives is nuttier, but not by much. Imagine, though, the adrenaline rush this would produce. Plus the internet attention. Win/Win.

We were all bulletproof at one time but many of us didn't have todays resources. Also, this stuff isn't new, in fact, it's old. BTW, the new Godzilla vs Kong comes out on Wed on HBO, and if I had enough faith I'd watch it.
Her's will not be a good death. It will be a shameful waste of talent, steely nerve and beauty. WHEN she splats what clueless pedestrian or motorist will pay the ultimate price for her foolhardiness. I admire her courage. Her judgement, not so much.
Still don't believe any of it.

ReplyDeleteThat is a bit out there.
ReplyDeleteThese people tend to eliminate themselves from the gene pool sooner or later...
ReplyDeleteNnnnnnnnope! Nope, nope, nope! NO!
ReplyDeleteYou'd think a mechanical failure or surprise gust of wind may be a problem someday.
ReplyDeleteJust one gust, I agree! She isn't thinking this all the way through.
