I need one

  1. For a right hander like me, the blades on the wrong side. I have a Dewalt cordless that is like that and it is difficult to use, so I rarely do.

    1. Depends on how you lay out your cut line. Mark left to right and cut on the right side of the line with the left side of the blade and it actually works better because of you aren't leaning oner the saw. 30 + year carpenter. Watch for the torque twist and start the blade back a bit. Also wrap the cord away from the blade when rolling it up around the saw after done cutting. Seen way too many with the cord cut 4 or 5 inches from the handle. Pro-tip

    2. Agree with Ned. I have a DeWalt cordless with the blade on the "wrong" side like that and it's a lot easier to use right handed than the "regular" orientation. I never use the "regular" saw these days unless I've drained all the batteries.

  2. We would replace the cord with a 50' and a twistloc.

  3. Looks like a worm drive lower rpm. Steel cutting blade and I could go to town

  4. A worm drive circular saw can be a bear if your not being very observant. It will cut through more material but if jam its not forgiving.
