  1. 1968 Porshe 907 Longtail. One of eight.

DSJ, but the cars of the 50's and 60's were gorgeous.

    1. I was very taken with the Type 904 and the 917 LS.

As the commercials said, "Por-Sha, there is NO substitute."

  2. Por-Sha? Well grounded in phonics, my first pronunciation was "Por-chee". Agree on the Type 904. I recall reading of a 904 works car that was used for whatever "what if" or "try this" device or scheme that came along. Like a 100-mission ship, it was a hodge-podge of repaired panels and paints. Still a beaut though.

  3. I forgetted; "NO substitute" is well and fine but I'm partial to "Perfection IS Porsche".
