That object looks similar to the description of the object observed in the Cash Landrum incident of 1980 near Dayton Tx. It was atypical in shape and behavior to common ufos reported and the observers suffered radiation sickness from the close encounter. The object was shaped like an inverted cone and had flames shooting out of the small end like the one here depicted. Odd.
