One Bold Snake

  1. That is a non-insulated high power line...if the snake were a viper, as it probably is(looks like a diamondback), the person taking the picture could not even swat the damn thing....

  2. Something tells me that snakes didn't get there by itself. Something or someone put it there. I might think it was the person taking the picture.

    1. Snakes can climb trees, why wouldn't they be able to climb power poles? You ever see a water moccasin climb and then fall into your boat while you are close to a water bank fishing? It induces panic believe me, fisherman have been known to shoot out the bottom of their boats with shotguns when one falls in...

  3. Who has the Right of Way? Can a snake crawl backwards?

  4. I worked for an electric utility for 40+ years. Snakes climbing poles and distribution lines and causing electrical outages is quite common.
