And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Looks very nice, and soon it will be time for outdoor cooking
Already started here. Snow left over the weekend, fired up the grill Mon night and did dawgz, fired it up again last night and did burgers, tonight are BBQ chicken breasts. I work the hell out of the grill when the weather's right. Wouldn't mind having a smoker.
I was going thru some pictures I saved from the fire. Where were a couple from when I was stationed in Traverse City Michigan, the grill out back with a shovel & broom so I could get to it when it was covered with snow.
I'm on year 2 with mine. Once you fix their 'factory' settings, or buy a new controller, they're perfect. I fixed mine and very happy with it's performance. Clean it like you're supposed to. Do NOT leave it uncovered when not using it. Pull that stupid screen out of the hopper. Find the online hints on 'sealing' it, and do it. I like being able to toss something on to smoke, and come home hours later, turn a knob and finish the cooking. Don't let it get low on pellets because bridging will make you scratch your head why it's off, still pellets in the hopper. This happened several times, until I caught it bridging and the shut off fan cycle caused enough vibration to shake the bridge loose. I'll gladly buy another if this one goes.
Reminds me, I have to buy the girlfriend a new gas grill. Two years ago I recommended Weber since my family has always used them since forever. What I didn't know is that Weber farmed out the gas grills to China. End of last season I went to clean it and found that the only thing holding it together was the rust. Up on the deck, and she's a fanatic about covering it after use.
It's always time to cook outside.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a chinese knock off of a Pit Boss.

ReplyDeletethose things always look great when they are brand new, but quickly become very grungy looking after only 1 or 2 uses.
