And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Learning to drive in Colo in 70's, very few guys had 4WD. You just figured out snow and 2WD and that's the way it was. As kids we practiced night time power slides for hours on end and would rarely loop a slide. Of course gas was .80$ a gallon also.
I used studded snows on my '65 Mustang. Lite in the ass it needed them or chains and we old folks all know what happens when chains eventually break especially when you're going over 30mph.
Learned about low traction driving on muddy Clayton County Georgia roads with my '50 Studebaker when I was in high school. It helped when I worked in New Jersey in the 60's. What also helped was studded snow tires and an ALFA GTV with 50/50 weight distribution. I'd just go out and drive around.
