  1. Over here it would be his and his again.

  2. I once met a fellow who had a sideline business that involved hand-engraved shotguns from a very old-school, Italian craftsman. The prices for these shotguns started around six figures and went up.

He said that once a deposit was made, the buyer would get delivery in 2 years. He said, however, that if the buyer was willing to pay twice the price, the Italian engraver would be willing to deliver the shotgun in 24 months.

Get a ticket. Take a seat.

  3. 577 Nitro Express. Hard to find ammo. On the other hand you'll never need a whole lot of it. Typically a box or two outlives the original owner. I think Jeff Cooper said they loaded 300 rounds for his .460 G&A Special "Baby". About half of it was left when they put the rifle in a museum.

    1. Thanks! I thought those were shotguns and were wondering about the 50 yd sights!

  4. Chamber thickness is way too much for a scattergun. I shoot .458WINMAG and 7mmWBYMAG. If you do not load your own, you better have a second job to buy ammo.

  5. If “her” is shooting a .577 NE, I’m not sure I’m interested...
I like strong women, but not STRONG women...

  6. His, and His Backup.

Hers would be something in the .375 range.
