And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Interesting. I was watching a cockpit video of a takeoff of an Airbus 330 and the FO mentioned that Airbus uses a "lights out" design philosophy for the overhead. I guess there are pros and cons. 747 is phasing out fast and as a passenger I'll really miss it. In my experience it is the true "Queen of the Sky".
The beautiful, fun Boeing 747!

ReplyDeleteBeauty is in the eye of the beholder and I have always seen the 747 as a beauty. Several fly in and out of Memphis daily to augment cargo capacity.
ReplyDeleteWhether it's a 747 or a Wichita spam can, night flight is a magical treat to experience from the cockpit.
ReplyDeleteSo much for the "red light only" at night.
