The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? I've been wearing the t-shirts for millennia and over the past few years the quality has slipped and the pricing has soared. It's not uncommon to buy 5 T's and they are manufactured from 5 diff places, and the sizes are all a little off.
FWIW, in mid Nov I put on a Lands End down vest and don't take it off til mid Apr. Snaps, LARGE pockets, and warm all the time. Course, their pricing has went through the moon too.
I love my Carhartt vest too. Great for in-out shopping in cold weather, as a warm store you remove your jacket and carry. The vest - just open and keep on going. Way less bulky to pack too in luggage.
Naah. This thing is 100% cotton. What you WANT is a bomber jacket with actual FLEECE (not the 'redefined' fleece, which is meaningless, actually). Leather over sheepskin. Pilots wear them for a reason.
