This is terribly disturbing - and Harrison Ford is super old too. Alec Guinness is long gone as well.

  1. Everybody dies, and actors are a dime a dozen. I enjoyed the first and third movies, but the deaths of the actors don't really matter to me. To each his own I suppose.

  2. OK, took me a second as I'd never seen 3 of them before.
    L-R: Han, C3PO, Wookie, Princess, R2D2, Luke.

    1. Nope:
L-R: Han, Vader, Chewbacca, Leia, R2D2, Luke.
Anthony Danials is not pictured (C3PO). AD is still alive...

  3. Meh.

By 1982, the same amount of time had passed since Gone With The Wind was made, and that entire cast (except Olivia de Havilland, then at age 67) was already dead as well.

  4. Harrison Ford, "Super old"? Baloney, he's only 10 days older than me!

    1. Like he said, super old. You're not *quite* super old.

  5. I never realized the guy who played Darth was also in A Clockwork Orange (small part). I read that Harrison Ford is getting ready to reprise Indiana Jones again. (?)

Indiana Jones and the Curse of Sun City? Indiana Jones and What the Hell was I Saying? The mind boggles...

    1. Indiana Jones and 'What did I come into this room for?'
Indiana Jones and The Search For His Misplaced Keys
Indiana Jones And the Curse Of His Enlarged Prostate

And if you thought that the last version, Indiana Jones And The Temple Of WTF? was bad, it gets worse...they found Karen Allen, and she's available for casting:

  6. Wasn't David Prowse some kinda strong man or weight lifter or something way before Darth Vader? I think I saw that somewhere when he passed.

    1. Yes, a body builder. He played a caretaker for a wheelchair-handicapped person in 'A Clockwork Orange'. Something I read that I thought was classy: James Earle Jones declined the movie crediting for the Darth role, saying that he only supplied the voice - Prowse did all the characterization work.
