And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
The recent conflict in Armenia proves the value of tanks, armored personnel carriers, and infantry fighting vehicles is no longer relevant, as Turkey used Israeli manufactured drones to destroy everything on the ground.
A viable replacement must be found for the obsolete tanks and armored vehicles.
UAVs/"drones" are fine for uncontested airspace but they don't do well when someone else is flying around shooting them down or when they have to fly against an integrated air defense system.
Bottom line: new technologies and tactics can dramatically change outcomes only as long as nobody else is ready to adapt.

People said that when ATGM's were introduced. There will always be a need for armed, mobile and protected ground weapons system.
