    1. Yeah, I also thought the first picture was of a guy in dreadlocks.

  2. Gotta love the 1st picture where the guys at the front actually think they are going to dig it out and/or lift it out?

  3. The recent conflict in Armenia proves the value of tanks, armored personnel carriers, and infantry fighting vehicles is no longer relevant, as Turkey used Israeli manufactured drones to destroy everything on the ground.

A viable replacement must be found for the obsolete tanks and armored vehicles.

    1. People said that when ATGM's were introduced. There will always be a need for armed, mobile and protected ground weapons system.

    2. UAVs/"drones" are fine for uncontested airspace but they don't do well when someone else is flying around shooting them down or when they have to fly against an integrated air defense system.

Bottom line: new technologies and tactics can dramatically change outcomes only as long as nobody else is ready to adapt.

  5. Seems that tank crews have forgotten about facines, could have saved all these guys a lot of trouble and embarrassment.

  6. In the first picture the guys are probably digging to find the tow hook to attach the cable.
