News broke late Saturday night that the iconic Rose Bowl would not be held in Pasadena…nor anywhere in the Golden State this year. It’s instead moving east to Texas.

California's "leaders" screw the state once again.

With local and regional health statutes preventing fans from being in attendance, the College Football Playoff semifinal at the Rose Bowl has been moved to AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The move, announced Saturday evening by the Pasadena Tournament of Roses, is a result of a "growing number of COVID-19 cases in Southern California along with the inability to host player and coach guests at any game in California."

The semifinal will still be played on Jan. 1, two days after the Cotton Bowl, but it's unclear whether it will still be called the "Rose Bowl". Unlike other college footballpostseason games, the Rose Bowl is a part of the Master License Agreement and co-owned by the Pasadena Tournament of Roses and the City of Pasadena.

If it does maintain the Rose Bowl moniker, it will be the first time it has not been played in Pasadena at the Rose Bowl Stadium since January 1942 on the heels of the Pearl Harbor attack.

Will there be much of anything left once the Progressives are finished with us?

Democrats.  Unfit to govern anything.

    1. Wishful thinking. They've already turned the state from red to purple.
Citizens should post guard at the border and shoot anyone driving a moving truck with CA plates on sight.

  3. 20 years ago....the ex(deceased) wife and I were visiting her daughter and family in Simi Valley...we were walking down the sidewalk in front of their house smoking ciggies....4 lane major road in front of their house...45MPH speed limit...Kaliforney ckskrs...would slow down, honk, and flip us off......not another living, breathing walking human being within 100 nyards...

  4. I think it's only fair that we charge them a hefty arrival and departure tax to allow for sterilizing the sidewalks after they're gone. If they're still here, we can sterilize them too.

  7. I saw the 2005 NC games in Pasadena & saw Vince Young stomp his way to a win, and let me tell ya, the rose bowl is the WORST. No restrooms in the stadium. Get that? Exit the stadium? WTF! My 2A highschool six man stadium has RR's under the bleachers. My seats in the endzone had no access isle. Once the seats below me filled up, (it was a sellout) I couldn't exit my seat. The isle was 4 packed solid rows in front of me. And their parking? ON A FRICKIN' GOLF COURSE! And I mean, on the greens, on the fairways, and on the rough. Good God! THIS shithole is a world-famous stadium? Gimme a break!

  8. Not surprising that California would surrender the Rose Bowl with a whimper. And not surprising that Texas scooped it up.
