And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Everyone Needs one but after 30 years in construction I would be shy to say that everyone can Use one. They can be extremely dangerous if ignorant to use.
When I reached the 25 year anniversary with my company they had a web page for you to pick your 'Award' gift. Mostly crystal vases or engraved bowls or similar sh*t. I kept plowing through and finally found that I could get one of these. Yeah! Several times better than the cheap circular saw I owned. My buds were burned, they didn't dig deep enough to get to the gold.
I had a Black & Decker for like 30 years until my Sainted Father burnt it up. Well it happens. Replaced it with a corded DeWalt with which I was well pleased until Mrs. got me a 20-volt battery powered DeWalt for Christmas. At first I was unimpressed until I started using it. I'm not sure where the corded saw is these days...…..
Bought my plastic Black and Decker in 1978 and have built 30 houses with it. Gonna use it today to make a new platform for the mailbox. I think I paid about $30 for it new. Good buy. I was lucky.
I have two. One "cordless" and the other ... with its cord intact. Someday I most order that part.
ReplyDeleteStill using an ancient Craftsman. I like the base-plate on this one, it looks sturdy and the rulers are a handy touch.
