And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Except for the cool ancient archaeological sites and tasty food, Athens is a stinking sh*thole and, for the most part, the modern Greeks are a bunch of lazy, self-entitled Marxists. Going on strike, especially before a regularly-scheduled holiday weekend, is the national pasttime.
Having access to that part of the Med and SE Eunuchistan is the only reason they're still in NATO. As a fighting force, the Greeks are about as useful as a bunch of Frenchmen backed-up by Pantyfa.
