    1. Does an air fryer really work?
This one with it's oil filter looks like a winner for those few times a year when I want to deep fry something but if an air fryer gave me the the same results without the oil mess/calories .....

    2. Air fryers are different but not better where batter is involved (JMHO). Embrace the Deep Fat.

    3. My wife will fry things like fries in it with just a very light spray of oil on them to get that crisp as an example. Much less greasy.

  2. Run the dishwasher for the 2nd time just for the cooker. Yeah that's the ticket.

  3. We have one of those and it's pretty slick. Add oil, fry, cool, and drain into the holding container. We regularly get 10-12 uses out of each batch of oil. Cleaning it is like washing one more pot plus the basket. Three minutes?
It makes double frying french fries a snap and solves the biggest (to me) problem with frying, what to do with the oil. You can tell when it's time to change the oil at our house because that's when I make fish and chips. There's no way that bitty filter can remove the the fish smell.

  4. I also have one. Absolutely love it! The filter function works very well, clean up is very easy. You can't beat the deep fat for tempura.
