And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Hey! The triumph tank isn't that old. It's a 1971 TR120 based on badge design and color scheme,Tiger Gold/Black. Each year/model had a specific color but the badges were by eras changing with definite redesigns. Have a 1971 T120R, Bonneville, in my garage in showroom condition under wraps. Well on second thought I guess 50 years is old.
Had a friend back about '67-'68 that was stationed with me at NAS Key West. Key West, at that time, had two motorcycle dealers. One was a BSA/Yamaha store and the other was a Triumph/Norton. This guy wanted something different, a new Suzuki 500. He left Miami late at night driving back to Key West. There were no gas stations open at night on the keys. The mosquitos ate him up when he ran out of gas.
Motorcycle porn.
ReplyDeleteGas tank on the Shovelhead is just big enough to get you to the next gas station.
